Dance artist, choreographer, educator, and Cammino Núcleo de Dança director

About

Practice shaped through attention and inquiry.

Greice Arthuso is a Brazilian dance artist, choreographer, educator, and director associated with Cammino Núcleo de Dança in Piracicaba, São Paulo. Her work moves between performance, teaching, choreographic direction, body preparation, and interdisciplinary creation.

Her movement teaching brings Feldenkrais-informed study into dialogue with procedures from Butoh and contemporary dance. Across workshops and creative processes, she works with perception, affective memory, bodily imagination, and the relationship between movement and other artistic languages.

Greice conceived and performed the solo Tronco no Véu, which joined dance, music, and visual art, and directed and performed in the dance film Voz(s) que dança. Her work also includes artistic direction, collaborative video dance, and body preparation for other performers.
